Embroidery, screen printing & DTG

Every branding method, done in-house at our Petone workshop. Bring us a garment and a logo and we'll make it look great.

Embroidery

Our 9 and 12 colour computerised embroidery machines stitch crisp, durable logos on polos, shirts, jackets, fleece, caps, beanies, bags, towels and badges. Embroidery looks premium, survives years of washing and is our most popular choice for uniforms.

  • Best for: polos, jackets, caps, workwear, hospitality
  • Up to 12 thread colours
  • Logo digitising done in-house and kept on file
  • Names and initials available

Screen printing

Our screen print department has been producing high-quality prints for over 30 years, using both manual and automatic presses. Screen printing gives bold, vibrant colour that lasts, and it gets more cost-effective the more you print.

  • Best for: tees, hoodies, event shirts, bulk orders
  • Bright, durable inks on light and dark garments
  • Great value from about 20 pieces per design
  • Front, back and sleeve prints

DTG printing

Direct to garment (DTG) printing works like an inkjet printer for fabric. It prints full-colour, photographic or highly detailed artwork straight onto the garment with no screens, so one-offs and small runs are simple.

  • Best for: full-colour artwork, photos, small runs
  • No screens or colour limits
  • Ideal for samples, gifts and one-offs
  • Soft feel on cotton garments

Stickers & digital transfers

We produce digital printed stickers and transfers, including photos on T shirts, for events, merch and short runs.

  • Best for: stickers, photo tees, short runs
  • Full colour
  • Quick turnaround
  • Ask about sizes and finishes

FAQ

Branding questions

Still stuck? Call (04) 568 4869 and talk to a real person.

Which method should I choose: embroidery, screen print or DTG?

Embroidery gives a premium, hard-wearing finish on polos, jackets and caps. Screen printing is the most cost-effective for larger runs of tees and hoodies. DTG suits full-colour or detailed artwork and small runs. We'll recommend the best fit for your job.

Is there a setup cost?

Embroidery has a one-off digitising charge for a new logo, which we keep on file for reorders. Screen printing has a screen charge per colour. DTG has no screens, so small runs are easy. Your quote will show everything.

Can you print on dark garments?

Yes. Screen printing and DTG both work on dark colours using a white underbase, so colours stay bright.

Can you embroider names on individual garments?

Yes. Individual names or initials can be added to embroidered garments, ideal for staff, chefs and leavers.

Do you do stickers or heat transfers?

We produce digital printed stickers and transfers. Ask us about your project.
